My name is Laiya Parker Im an Actor, Theatrical Singer, and Professional Makeup Artist Born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. A true southern girl at heart, but as of most recently I'm located in New York City! I am a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) NYC where I studied Musical Theatre 

For as long as I could remember I've always been a lover of music and performing. My journey with musical theatre didn't begin until my freshman year of High School when I was "accidentally" placed into an Intro to Acting class (and hated every minute of it LOL) that's another story for another day. I stuck it out and saw our school's spring musical Legally Blonde. It was one of the greatest things I had ever seen, It changed my whole view on theater, and From that day forward I knew I wanted to be a part of something that made people feel the way I felt at that very moment. When not on stage you can find me doing makeup, taking pictures of everything and everyone, rapping Drake lyrics, and spending time with loved ones.
